Paddle to the Sea – Canadian Film Board

March 20, 2014 By Pat Williams

Now that spring is upon us… remember this little gem from elementary school? I attended primary grades during the 70’s, how many of you got to see it? It was a National Film Board production, circa 1966, based on a book called Paddle to the Sea by American writer Holling C. Holling. It was nominated for an Oscar in the short film category. Thanks to John Bowen for reminding me about it via Facebook.
